David Schwartz is a network engineer in the Global Network Access organization responsible for WAN (Wide Area Network), MAN (Metropolitan Area Network), and International Office enterprise network designs. David designs, implements and operates networks incorporating technologies such as DMVPN,  BGP, EIGRP, LWAPP, IPSec, VRFs, PPP, PKI, Cisco 800 and ASRs Series Routers. Working directly with end user David collects requirements, delivers simple, sustainable and repeatable network solutions that conform to adopted architecture and policies. David is currently chair of an Enterprise Design Review Board, CCNA Certified and working towards his CCNP Certification. Global Network Access, a part of IT Infrastructure, is responsible for end to end delivery of Wide Area Network connectivity to all Boeing employees worldwide.

David previously served as the IT Business Engagement Partner for Boeing Flight Test Operations for 2.5 years where his primary responsibilities were managing Information Technology projects at Commercial and Military Remote Flight Test Bases. These projects involved eliciting IT requirements from end users, managing IT Infrastructure service delivery commitments and ensuring onsite technology integration for short and long term Flight Test Operations. David joined Boeing in 2008 as an Industrial Engineering Intern supporting 747 Industrial Engineering.

David earned his Masters of Engineering degree in Engineering Management concurrently with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2009. His Masters Thesis, Rapid Concept Development of an Electrophotographic Development and Transfer Station, David was responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of eight engineers in the rapid development of an Electrophotographic Development and Transfer Station from concept to prototype. Electrophotography is the process used in most photocopiers and laser printers.  In addition he participated in one year co-op program during his time at Rochester Institute of Technology where he rotated through three employers, including Boeing and Wyeth (Pfizer), with varying roles and responsibilities including project management and technical analysis. He received a Merit Scholarship and was a six term Deans List recipient while in attendance at Rochester Institute of Technology.
David is a CISSP Certified Associate of ISC, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and an Engineering-In-Training (EIT). He is currently working towards his Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification in Routing and Switching.
